March 14 - 15, 2015 Linda and I attended a reenactment of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, Greensboro, NC in honor of the 234th Anniversary of the battle on March 15, 1781. The Re-enactment took place on the actual battlefield 234 years ago. The Battle of Guilford Courthouse was the last major battle fought by Gen Cornwallis and weakened his army so much that it aided in the victory by the Patriots at Yorktown. Our two daughters, Karen Raumaker and Kathy Myers, also attended. We represented the Amb. Fletcher Warren Chapter, TXSSAR and Capt. Charles Croxall DAR Chapter, Commerce..
