10:50 Setup room, ordered meals, and had a time of fellowship

11:20 Meeting was called to order by Past President Harlan Green (President Don Bunnell is still having medical problems).
--Pledges to the Flags and SAR
--Chaplain David Kirkland shared a reading followed by prayer

--Color Guard information was given by Harlan Green:
--Name tags and Tricorn hats will be given those who join.
--Our Color Guard was represented at the recent funeral of Col. Bill Todd.
--4 Color Guard participated in the July 4th program at Sun City and posted the colors later at the Ball Room. These were well attended.
--There is a need for more members with Muskets (they don't have to be in working order).
--Minutes of the June 11th meeting were accepted as e-mailed
--Treasurer Bill Freeman reported a balance of $ 2,187.08

11:35 Meals were served and meeting postponed until after meal

--It was suggested that all members who have them, wear their uniforms at the December meeting.

12:10 President/elect Paul Swetland introduced the Speaker: Richard Powell who presented a program on "The Command History of Fort Hood"
--It was an excellent program despite power/point problems

1:20 Program ended after a good and lively discussion

1:35 Closing Ceremony and adjournment.
