Meeting called to order by President Don Bunnell.
Pledges to the flags of the United States, Texas state, and SAR led by Ray DeVries.
Opening prayer led by Mike Nichols.
Announcement by restaurant manager stating that all foods at Bob's Catfish N More are fried, with cholesterol free canola oil.
Harlon Green noted that there are several military history books available for anyone who wants them.
Guests were introduced.
Minutes from August 11 meeting were accepted.
President Bunnell gave the treasurers report in the absence of Bill Freeman, stating that we are in the black.
Registrar Dan Stauffer requested that all prospective and new members provide their email address to the secretary.
Harlon Green gave report of Color Guard participating at immigration ceremony at Delco Center in Austin.
President Bunnell announced that November will be election of officers.
December meeting will be held at Berry Creek
Country Club for the installation of officers and awarding Military Service Ribbons and SAR Service Ribbons.
Meal will be a brunch style meal costing $15.00 per person.

At this point the meal was served.
After the meal, Harlon Green requests anyone who owns a Revolutionary War uniform to wear it the the December meeting.
In addition William Towery has a VA uniform for sale for $150.00
The program was turned over to our speaker, Major John Paylor, Assistant Director of Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery near Killeen, TX. He provided information about services provided by the cemetery.
Meeting was dismissed with the SAR Recessional led by Ray DeVries, and closing prayer by Mike Nichols.
