Purpose

The SAR awards the ROTC & JROTC Medal to foster the principle of the "Citizen-Soldier", exemplified by the Minutemen of Revolutionary War days.

Awards

JROTC Silver Award
  1. Each secondary school JROTC cadet chosen, will receive the SAR Bronze JROTC Medal;
  2. Each college or university ROTC cadet chosen, will receive the SAR Silver ROTC Medal;
  3. Each secondary school Naval Sea Cadet chosen, will receive the SAR Bronze Good Citizenship Medal;
