Fifth Annual SAR/DAR Flag Retirement and Honor Our Veterans Ceremony

(right photo)We had about 200 attendees including veterans from WWII through the current wars, including a Navy Veteran who was present at the Pearl Harbor attack of Dec 7, 1941 and a Tuskegee Airman from WWII. We also had two Buffalo Soldiers from the Viet Nam war, one of which has received 3 Purple Hearts.

McKinney Chapter President Jack Twiggs presented Compatriot Don Babbs the SAR War Service Medal.
