The Annual State Meeting in Nacogdoches, March 20,21 and 22, 2009

The Athens Chapter hosted the Annual State Meeting in Nacogdoches with the support of the Fredonia Chapter (Nacogdoches) and the Lt. Nathan Gann Chapter of Lufkin.  The meeting was held in the Fredonia Hotel.  There were approximately 105 to 110 members attending along with wives and guests.

Tom Gann and Jeff Corbett worked at the registration desk on Saturday, Burl Ivy reported for duty but wasn't needed.  Donald Stallings attended but did not work.  Fred Preston created and maintained a web page for one year prior to the meeting advertising the meeting and showing the schedule, maps etc.  He also watched over Neal Naranjo's artifact collection all day Saturday and participated in the posting of the colors at the banquet Saturday evening.  All in all we had good participation and the meeting went well.  Following are some pictures taken at the meeting.
