Item Description

PineyWoods Lineage Book Vol. 2 - Hardcover/CD-ROM Combination ($40.00 + shipping/handling + taxes for Texas orders).  This item includes both the 450 page, 8.5 x 11, hard-cover volume and the CD-ROM "Electronic version" of this same volume.  They contain over 170 actual NSSAR application forms with all included genealogies.  It contains three comprehensive indexes:  a surname index, a patriot index, and an unknown surname index.  Every name that appears on every application is in at least one of these indexes.  The hard-bound volume compares in size and quality with the NSSAR Revolutionary War Graves Register volume.  On the CD-ROM, all index entries are linked back to the appropriate page.  In addition, it has an expanded Table of Contents where any application can quickly be found via "Applications by Patriot" and "Applications by Member" listings.  Although the automatic installation routine will work only on Windows systems, the "electronic book" itself is in Adobe PDF format and therefore can be utilized by any system which supports this standard.
