How do I do this?

How can I keep from having to do this every time I make an online payment to TXSSAR?

Registration

Note: Online registration has been suspended for this event as it has already started. If you would still like to come, please come in and we will register you at the event and will do our best to accomodate you for meals.

Using this form, you can register and pay online for the March 2010 115th State Convention in Houston. The form is in two parts: 1) Personal Information; and 2) Event Registration and Payment. In the Personal Information section, your Name, National Number, Phone, and Email address are required fields. Your registration cannot be completed without this information. If there is a Yes/No choice, clicking one of the radio buttons will record your choice.

In the Event Registration and Payment section, merely click the "add" link in the Compatriot Registration Fee row to add this cost to your registration. For the remaining Event Registration and Payment entries, enter the number of people who you are including in this registration and who will be attending the respective event in the Number Attending column and then click the respective "add" link.

A Handling fee of approximately 3% is automatically calculated and applied to the transaction based on the total amount to offset the online merchant account fees charged.

If you feel like you have made too many errors, click the Reset button at the very bottom of the form to remove all entries and set all amounts to zero. You can correct a single entry by reentering the data (Personal Information) or re-entering a number in the appropriate Number Attending box and clicking the respective "add" link again. When your order is set the way you want it, click the Continue button to proceed to the PayPal processing page. If you do not see any PayPal pages, your registration cannot be completed and you should let the webmaster know that there is a problem!

TXSSAR online payments are processed via PayPal. You do not need to be a PayPal member to make credit card payments via PayPal, but members will have their usual options (as previously set up) as to how payments are made. Although you will not be on a secure server while you are entering your Personal Information and Payment selections on this page, you will transfer to a secure PayPal server for credit card processing as soon as you click the checkout button.

When you get to the PayPal page, members need only enter your email and password to log on to your account to complete payment. Non-members can click the Continue button in the Guest Checkout box. Additional pages will allow you to enter the appropriate credit card information to complete the transaction. You will be able to view the details of your transaction on the initial PayPal page to ensure that all elements were correctly forwarded.

HOTEL ROOM RESERVATION

Hotel room reservations must be made directly with the hotel before March 5th. For Convention Registration see next section.

Hotel reservations can be made by telephone as follows. Call the Hilton Houston Westchase, at 713-974-1000 or 800-HILTONS. Confirm the room rate when you are making your reservation. Keep your confirmation number in the event you need to refer to it at a later date. The number of rooms is limited.

You must identify yourself as being affiliated with the "SAR" or "Sons of the American Revolution" group and request the convention rate in order to obtain the discounted rate. Single or Double occupancy is only $89.00 per night plus taxes. Parking is free. For more information see the online Westchase Information sheet.

REGISTRATION

The 2010 TXSSAR State Convention Registration Fee is $35 per Compatriot.

The Genealogical Seminar on Thursday at the Hilton is $10 per person.

Saturday Luncheon is $25 per person, Thursday Dinner is $35 per person, Saturday Dinner is $35 per person.

Should you need to cancel your Convention Registration please do so before March 5, 2010. After that date we are unable to refund that fee or banquet and seminar fees. You must cancel your Hotel Reservation directly with the Hilton Houston Westchase.
