Rumbaugh Oration Contest Winner 2009

The winner of the TXSSAR Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Oration Contest for 2009 is Philip Hayes.  Master Hayes is sponsored by the Capt William Barron Chapter #25.  He represented the Texas Society, Sons of the American Revolution at the National Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Oration Contest for 2009 in Atlanta, GA in July 2009 and won 1st place nationally!  He participated as a Junior the year before winning 1st Place at the State level and placed 2nd at the National 118th Congress Contest in 2008 at Sacramento, CA.
